The Polish family business company KFD Ltd was founded in 1996.
The main activity and principle of the company is the production of inexpensive, high-quality products that can successfully compete in the segment of heating and fireplace equipment on the European market.
The company's fireplace inserts are made only of heat-resistant and durable steel grades - Corten, capable of withstanding extreme thermal loads for a long time.
The inner surface of the combustion chambers is lined with fireclay panels that efficiently accumulate heat and protect the main steel body from overheating.
Additionally, for the possibility of long-term use of the furnace in continuous combustion mode, the rear wall of the combustion chamber is protected by a cast iron plate.
In some models, combined with cast iron, vermiculite is used in the side panels.
Types of fireplace inserts KFD
ECO Linea is a premium segment. Models of this series, in turn, are subdivided into furnaces with a wide, horizontally elongated facade - letter H in the name, and vertical furnaces, with high glass - letter V (especially popular with designers due to their unusualness). All of them have a mechanism for lifting the glass up.
For maintenance and cleaning, the door pivots towards itself giving access to the inner surface of the glass and the ash pan. Ease of installation is provided by the height-adjustable legs. In this series, the side walls of the furnace are made of vermiculite and the back wall is made of a cast iron plate.
iLINE - simpler fireboxes, without compromising quality. The lining of the inner part of the chamber is made of fireclay panels; the thickness of the outer steel body has a wall thickness of 4 mm.
All models are equipped with gate valves and valves for intake of combustion air from the outside, with automatic regulation by a built-in thermostat. The budget models of this series have a very attractive price and are bought in our country very willingly.
